Fan Asks TJCB to Fly to San Diego!
Thanks to Lindsey Natzic-Villatoro, a young lady Ashley Bridges found out about TJCB. She heard "Father, Father" from the Team Love Song video and fell in love. Ashley is terminally ill.
She found out she had bone cancer when she was 10 weeks pregnant. She opted not to do surgery so she could have a healthy baby. By the time she had her healthy baby girl, it spread throughout her entire body. Her fiancé and her planned to marry in January, but the doctors do not think she has that much time, so they moved the wedding up to November. This just shows the true sacrifice of motherhood. Absolutely amazing.
Ashley asked for the wedding of her dreams, and Lindsey delivered! Part of this dream, was to pull together as many vendors as possible to make the dream wedding come true. The Jason Connelly Band was one of those vendors!
On November 10, TJCB went to Facebook to ask for help:
"ATTENTION URGENT!!! A lot of ya'll prob. have seen the video that's posted below. Well here's the shakes on what I am trying to do to help the cause even more. I need a plane ticket to San Diego, Ca asap! The mission is for me to play for a young lady that only has very little time left on this earth, and her wish is for me to play one of my songs at her wedding before she passes. What I am asking ya'll to do is to please help with the cost of the plane ticket. I am will need a ticket Nov. 28th-30th, and once I am there the rest is already handled. Please inbox me if you feel you can help in any way. I have a pay pal account and would love to make this happen. Thank ya'll for taking the time and reading what I have to say, and I would like to give a very special thanks to all of you for always making the journey of music feel like more than just a three minute song. Have a blessed day and be kind to each other."
Within 8 hours, two plane tickets were given to Jason and his wife (Unfortunately Benny could not go). Within 2 weeks, the two were headed to San Diego! What a blessing and what an incredible experience! The two attended Ashley and Jonathan's dream wedding--A $70,000 wedding with no cost to them. Jason played as many sweet songs as he could muster; then finally, Ashley's favorite, "Father, Father."

Here's a great video that Loretto Di Cesare of IDEE films put together for their big day. *hint* you might see Jason and Nicole in the video!
Here's the final wedding video that Loretto Di Cesare made of their big day. You might recognize the song at the end!
